REPORT YOUR SHOW
|
As we get back to work- please share your work conditions with us the show reporting form.
We’re eager to hear about COVID issues, working conditions, hours, if pay rates are the same/higher/lower...any grievances, etc. Important to know the ProdCo and Network, so if there's an issue- we may facilitate, spread the word to media or call the Unions to step in, if needed. As with all we do, we keep you anonymous unless you tell us otherwise. |
BIPOC QUESTIONNAIRE
|
We are in a pivotal moment of reckoning in the world, and the NFU wants to encourage accountability and change within our industry so that all non-fiction workers’ standards are raised equally. The NFU, in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, believes that fighting for racial equality is an essential part of ensuring the rights of workers in our industry. We proudly stand with advocacy groups that are now and have long been in the fight for social, racial, and economic justice.
The goal for this initiative will be to facilitate discussions of issues like equal pay, racial discrimination, equal rate of growth within the industry, and COVID-19 protocols. The NFU is made stronger by our diversity. At this time, we are looking for members of the NFU community to join this conversation, as well as members willing to potentially lead this initiative. Please take our ANONYMOUS SURVEY. |
ON GOING PAY RATE SURVEY
|
TAKE THE PAY RATE SURVEY HERE
In consideration of industry standards, an (anonymous) survey collecting what pay rates are being offered, per role. This is an on-going pay rate survey, in which we hope will be useful in awareness and negotiations. |
BENEFITS SURVEY
|
TAKE THE BENEFITS SURVEY HERE
The anonymous benefits survey is for understanding "incentives" non-fiction workers receive, i.e. box rentals, reimbursements, health, et al. We want to know how our freelancers are being treated in the workplace, beyond pay rates. |
